Job Brief
We are on the lookout for a talented WordPress developer to design and bring to life appealing and functional websites for our clients.
In this role, you’ll be in charge of both the technical aspects of back-end development and the creative elements of front-end design. This involves creating and implementing WordPress themes and plugins, as well as seamlessly integrating websites and ensuring their security through updates. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our clients have visually impressive and well-functioning online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Designing and constructing the front-end of the website.
- Developing the overall structure and organization of the website.
- Designing and overseeing the back-end of the website, including database and server integration.
- Creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Performing tests to ensure the website works smoothly.
- Solving any issues related to content.
- Providing training to clients on using WordPress.
- Continuously monitoring the website’s performance after it goes live.
Applicant requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Demonstrate proven work history as a WordPress developer.
- Possess knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Have experience working with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Display a strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Showcase the ability to manage projects effectively.
- Exhibit good communication skills.
